AEW Collision & Rampage results, live blog (May 11, 2024): Copeland vs. O’Reilly for the TNT title

 Here’s a place to check results and comment along with the new episode of AEW Collision — and Rampage, airing live tonight (May 11) at 8:00 pm ET on TNT TBS.

The shows come our way from Rogers Arena in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada and will continue the company’s build to their Double or Nothing PPV at the end of the month.

Collision will feature Adam Copeland’s latest TNT title defense, this one against Vancouver’s own Kyle O’Reilly after he came to the champ’s aid against House of Black on Wednesday. We’ll also get a couple matches featuring members of the team who assembled to fight The Elite at the end of Dynamite: Dax Harwood vs. “Dynamite Kid” Tommy Billington and Bryan Danielson teaming with his Blackpool Combat Club teammate Claudio Castagnoli to take on Top Flight. Will Ospreay is have a match against Lee Moriarty, Thunder Rosa goes against Robyn Renegade, Brian Cage & Gates of Agony will be in trios action days after turning on World champion Swerve Strickland... and more!

Then, Rampage will follow that with Deonna Purrazzo vs. Lady Frost and Trent Beretta in action against Dalton Castle as part of another hour of wrestling action!

AEW COLLISION & RAMPAGE RESULTS AND LIVE BLOG FOR MAY 11

The show comes on the air with Bryan Danielson’s music playing. We’re getting right into it.

Blackpool Combat Club vs. Top Flight: This is Danielson’s first match since Dynasty and the injury angle they’ve been working. Nigel points out the injury probably wasn’t as bad as he was making out. Once both teams are in the match and the bell rings, the fans give them a standing ovation and chant for the promotion, as opposed to any of the wrestlers in the ring. Top Flight was in control for most of the early part of the match, with some fun tandem offense. Fans chanted “this is awesome” once BCC made their first comeback. Dante Martin got a two count off a huge splash but ended up in the Giant Swing shortly after. A Sharpshooter followed. Darius in to help break it up, and the match breaks down into all four exchanging blows all around the ring. They teased Top Flight scoring the upset once more but ultimately Claudio just ran over Darius with a monster lariat for the pin. Blackpool Combat Club def. Top Flight via pinfall
